Holidays close to nature

The tent places appeal to outdoor people who travel without engines: hikers, cyclists, sailors, and riders. You are not allowed to arrive in a motor vehicle at the tent places.

Stars, silence and twist bread on the fireplace. Birds singing, finger food and holidays! The ingredients of a tent place holiday are manifold. You decide the pace yourself and where you want to go. Here follows a list of the tent places in our area:

A place in the woods at the red stone, “Rødstenen”, on Fur

At “Rødstenen” on the northern part of Fur, “Nordfur”, the National Forest and Nature Agency has installed a tent place with a place for a campfire. A municipal toilet is located 200 metres away. The place is a good starting place for hikes in the characteristic nature of Fur and along the magnificent moler slopes on the northern part of Fur, “Nordfur”.

Nørre Thise

Ecological farming with milk cows and geese facing the expanding area of the inlet called, “Risgårde Bredning”. The tent places are in a fruit garden, meadow, or on a beach where you can go swimming. Three to four km to shopping area.
Road instructions:
From Sundsøre you follow the daisy route called Margueriteruten (the road Fjordvej) towards Junget. In Nr. Thise you turn right towards the water.

Grættrup

A small garden in the woods with good shelter near a small number of houses between the lake Brokholm Sø and the inlet Limfjorden. Toilet, campfire place, swimming possibilities nearby. Beach with pebbles: Grættrup beach 1600 m, Junget beach approx. 4000 m. Shopping 3 km (the co-op Junget Brugs).
Road instructions:
From the road Fjordvej (the daisy route Margueritruten) towards west along the road Vejsmarksvej, approx. 1 km along the road you will find a red house with wooden shutters on the left side. We live there.
From Thorum towards the east along the hill Præstegårdsbakken, right outside town to the right along the road Grættrupvej, approx. 3 km towards the road Vejsmarksvej, to the left approx. 300 m to the red house with wooden shutters on the right side. We live there.
From the road Sundsørevej towards the north along the road Vejsmarksvej approx. 4 km to the red house with wooden shutters.

The property Sundsørehus, Sundsøre

The place is in a nature garden with trees and shrubbery. The property offers bistro and kiosk (open approx. 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.). Distance to shopping area approx. 2 km. One hundred fifty metres to a beach with a bathing jetty. Approx. 150 m to the ferry Sundsøre-Hvalpsund.

Borstrup, Jebjerg

The place is a lawn located at a sheltered place at the farm. Fifteen hundred metres to shopping area.
Road instructions:
We live approx. 300 m from the old Skive-Glyngøre highway. Approx. 11 km north of the town of Skive the road is crossed by a road to Jebjerg and Oddense. Here you turn towards Oddense and it is the first farm on the left side.

Roslev

Sheltered garden or lawn (your choice) at an ecological dairy farm. Cows and horses are grazing in fields nearby. Two thousand five hundred metres to shopping area.
Road instructions:
The tent place is situated at the county road (road 591) between Sundsøre and Roslev.

Grønning Øre

The tent place is situated in a wooded area near a beach. You can sail to the place (beach with pebbles, 20 m to the tent place). Five kilometres to  shopping area.
Road instructions:
From the town of Skive: follow road 551 towards Fur. In Grønning turn right along the road Grønningvej. Drive right through Ø. Grønningvej and continue towards Grønning Øre along a gravel road. Turn right at the sign, “Sundsøre 24”, turn left at the first road and the place is situated where the road ends.
