Ferry trips ”round Fur”
with the old Fur ferryboat: Stenøre
in the weeks 26 – 33, 2009.

Enjoy a lovely summer day onboard the ferryboat Stenøre on the Limfjorden with sun and wind across the twinkling inlet and a splendid view towards land. The trip will take you around the island Fur, and it lasts abt. two hours. The trip will, for instance, go past Blinderøn which is one of the places where the seals of the inlet often stay. Remember your binoculars.

The ferryboat holds max. 50 persons onboard. As your stay during the trip will take place on the deck, you are recommended to be warmly dressed. Tables and benches are available on the deck. You are welcome to bring your own lunch basket on the trip.

Trips will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 1.00 p.m.
– the first time on 2nd July and the last time on 14th August.

Price for adults:    DKK 120
Price for children: DKK 60

Children up to one year are free, 1 – 12 year-olds sail on children´s tickets.

There is no departure in case of less than 15 participants or if the weather is bad. The master onboard is at any time he who decides whether it is safe to go to sea.

In case of  cancellation the full ticket price will be reimbursed.
